Have you put it on a diagnostics machine yet? See what faults it throws up it will tell you exactly whats wrong and you can just change that part instead of throwing £££ at it.
any warning lights on dash?
when was the last service?
unless you have my fault that I've just posted what has not...
Ok bizarre one this so ill try and explain to the best of my ability
(please bare with me writing on iPhone)
It started happening last week, driving home from work nothing out of the ordinary
i pulled away from the junction and the car accelerated normal but then got to 2.5k rpm- 3k rpm and...
It will have an internal bore. Which you then match with the same size joiner (usually measured in outer diameter) samco hosing will fit snug and stretch over joiner

Same thing has just happened to my 172, had it on a code reader, so going down spark plug route.
Have you any warning lights on your dash?
only reason I'm saying this is if you find a fault please update see if it works for mine
I'm not sure i have ever driven my 172 in 4 years of ownership and not given it full beans each time I'm out in it. Only ever needed belts, dephaser, service, brakes and tyres changed I.e the usual car service items
give it hell it's designed for it, as long as its properly maintained
Yeah get the screen shot and send it off and you will get the specific map for your car.... All depends which ecu you have to which map you want. Don't bother getting tge launch control map though its tge most pointless thing ever.(I know I have it does nothing other than lower your rev limit in...
Much better idle
seems to smooth the torque curve out so there is more power across the rev range not just 5k and above
better mpg (in my case)
just a better driving experience with better throttle response to be honest I changed back recently to see if I could see any difference, went straight...
Looks scary as f**k driving it on the road but the second it goes off road it looked so smooth and controlled, dread to think what the total build cost would be on something like that
Only got this 2 days first battlefield I've properly played. Not touched tge single player but online is epic, taking done getting used to though as I only ever played cod... This is different its like night and day
Is there anything new other than cars since the rallying pack came out??? The rallying would of been good if it was properly integrated not just the roads covered in dirt.
The more I see 197 the more I like them and am thinking of getting rid of my phase 1 172 and getting a 197.... Part of me always thinks ill miss the phase 1 though. If I did have a 197 either be identical to this or a LY one.
epic car dude
Just completed it was really good at first then after a while it was a bit of a drag ..... Puzzles were not hard enough at all and ended up being jump up to room clear room of bad guys and repeat x100. Would of been better if it was completly open world like far cry 3
O and I miss not doing...
when I bought my phase 1 the windows were tinted exactly like that all around, almost 100% limo tint, they were f**king stupid and dangerous. I was saving up to get them removed, got stopped several times in first couple of weeks of owning it and my other half recieved £60 fine for driving with...
My phase 1 172 got a nasty flat spot at about 4-4.5k rpm. Decat's are not really worth it performance wise on a n/a engine, you see really benefits on a turbo engine. For the sake of switching over at mot, cost of a remap to sort flat spot out and the cost of the decat, I personally would put...
I'd change it personally, who changed the Cambelt last (if they ain't a specialist they might not have had the correct tools for the job)? For the sake of £400-£500 getting it done by a specialist on here with the correct tools I'd get it done. My car had only done 8.5k miles on my Cambelt in 5...
Ill be honest I was expecting much more than that on all fronts. But I suppose if something does go wrong it's serious ££££ for a new turbo and what not
