Just to add to my PM i will be cutting the door card away where the old speaker used to attach to leaving the new spaeker just behind the original grill

was a real pain to take the door cards off. next step was to cut the mdf ring to size and mark the holes to fit it to the original holes in the door. The speakers are DLS UR6S (6.5") these will then be screwed into the mdf ring and the door card where the original speaker fastened to cut away...
