10 per cent. My local in Leamington used to ask for member card but now are used to it and are Ok with you just saying that you get cliosport discount.
They can check with head office if they want, think my local did the 1st tiem and they even knew my name and membership number.
Think the Highsports offer a good compromise, at least they do on my Valver, even though they are firmer than stock as standard.
Never felt I would fiddle wth their settings so saved money on getting non adjustable damping.
If you feel you will use it, pay the extra £100 or so for it, if...
I believe the FK's for newer model clios, i.e. MK2 have adjustable camber on them but those for older ones like my Valver do not and they need camber adjustment bolts.
I have FK's on my Valver and all those who fitted the newer ones were suprised.
Guess it depends on how much they are...
Yeah haev them on my Valver, that's where I got mine from when they offered free fitting and FK's were not as widespread as they are today.
2modified website has them at £350 IIRC. That's for Highsports. IMO not wirth getting Konigsports as doubt you will adjust them much but if you want to...
From http://www.performancedriven.co.uk/default.asp where I got mine from nearly 3 years ago. They were quite a bit more expensive then but had an offer of free fitting on.
Still worth checking out for any1 interested in coilovers.
Think its about a fiver. Or local motor store should sell.
Quite abrasive in action, actually rubs off black which is metal you have polished off. Used to use on rusty steel bike wheels all the time.
Not sure if its worth trying something less harsh on stainless steel but autosol...
Doubt it as 172 is a F4R engine and think you are thinking of megane F7R head being similar to Clio Williams F7R head but with different valves and ports.
If they are like the Valver, came with 185/55/15. Most go for 195/50/15 as they are cheaper. Bit firmer ride but you can get more choice and pay less dosh when buying tyres.
Definately wouldn't go for 45 profile as even more firm ride and more expensive than 50 profile. If you can afford...
Good job every now and then to take a wheel off at atime and clean out all the small stones and grit which can collect in between springs and spray with the can provided.
Do mine every 6 months and had them for 3 years with no problems.
Fitted MB Quart QM 218.61 in my Valver. Many places said it couldn't be done but found a place who did. The depth is fine but you will have to cut out where they fit which means a bit or metal removal (making 5.25 to 6.5 diameter hole) Unless you space out with speaker less flush so less in...
Another link for Turini too so don't know why they can#'t be got unless out at Speedline:
http://www.balancemotorsport.co.uk/pp/Alloy_Wheels/Aluminium/Speedline_Type_2120_-_Turini.html
May be worth giving speedline a bell.
Contact: http://www.speedlinecorse.co.uk/
Turinis can be got from speedline direct (members get discount) and many on line retailers.
Cheapest quote I got for 4 16" in gold was £480 (which was not from speedline direct by the way)
Had one for many many years and tend to get better mpg with it switched on than when it is switched off. With all the cheap ones being sold by those who don't want them, get one and make your own mind up. Simple screw/unscrew to switch on and off.
Also rate Silkolene. Castrol RS previous best oil used but the Silkolene comes in 5 litres which is a bonus. Mobil 1 worst I have used but thats in 15w50 guise in Summer.
Do a search for any posts by Oilman and all will be revealed.
Would ask them what they are doing and break down the cost. If you advise them that a new lower arm including ball joint in 25 quid from GSF (50 quid from renault) and 1 hour to fit I'd get them to do that. Or its a tenner for GSF for ball joint on its own and probably a bit quicker.
So...
