    I think Ill mention this when my car goes in for its 45,000 service next month as my clutch stuck once last week, and the gear feel isnt as smooth as it was...will also be warrenty work...thank goodness for 3 yr warrenties

    Danie, Im seriously considering decatting my car and changing the platinum spark plugs and using leaded 102 racing fuel on track days and drag days. Considering that even unleaded fuel in SA has other heavy metals instead of lead, the cat and plugs are being poisoned anyway. Rob

    Removed the rattly 172 engine cover..

    I removed mine because it lost two of the screws keeping it attached....also fixed that I assumed was the 4k rattle. Im not gonna paint the cover (now that its off), rather polish the metal, and paint the Renaultsport bit in the right colours

    It depends on the situation, and the car. Up here Subarus HAVE to run octane boosters, and other cars like the 172 and M3 will also benefit. Im thinking about decatting my car, replacing the platinum spark plugs and running leaded fuel, which means I would have access to 102RON
