Hmmm, interesting; I had Yoko A539s on my old 8v Jolf and thought they were great..! Nice and quiet and fairly grippy. Maybe they were just significantly better than the previous tyres I had on there...

This is *exactly* my point... no-one seems to be comparing like with like! I could turn up in a 1977 Fiesta with a full stripped out interior running a cosworth engine, slicks and no MOT and beat everyone in site but personally wouldnt... a) be seen dead in it and... b) waste my money...

My Alpine Digital MD-300 amp was faulty - sent it back to supplier but as it was scratched (my fault!) they sent it back to Alipne who actually replaced it FOC... nice of em eh?! I do know that Alpine have a repairs dept, could try them?

Might be going to the Superbikes @ Brands this year... probably in my 172 though, bike test soon though ;-)
