I see by looking through the Galleries that many Mk2 172 owners have replaced their bulbs with "Philips Silver Vision and Blue Vision bulbs"... are these still Xenon ones? If not, why change them, and what improvements do they give. Also how much/where from?! Cheers - Andy

I put JBL components up front (woofers & crossovers in doors, tweeters in dash) and replaced rears with Infinity 2-ways. Improvement is incredible... also got a sub & amp and it doesnt distort at any volume level... My headunit is Alpine 7838 and got a MD-300 amp & Type-R sub (both Alpine).

They change do look better when the light catches them, they look more smoked then than clear... trust me, I thought the same at first but definitely think they look better than all that red plastic..! :D

Yup... I still have 3 screws left over... Costs quite a bit; £60 altogether as you need an adaptor for the adaptor I seem to remember..! Worth it though...
