Please help, My car failed on one 17 tyre being bald on the inside. Where is the best place to buy cheap tyres. Need help asap as if i can get it sorted tomorrow then the re-test is free. I would prefer the tyres to be Falken but any makes are ok. Kev

mine done this (valver so dont know if there is a difference), found it was the idle control thingy which plugs into something that is on the breather pipe which comes off the manofold. Just plugged it on better and it was fine.

ask to see some of there work. I would have said I would expect to pay between £100-£150 for this. £80 sounds a little cheap but then again if it is a mate or something then it is about right.

Myself i wouldnt pay any more than 1.2k. I know loadsa places who could do it for way under 2k and they do a pukka job. Price dont garantee a brilliant job. Seen some cars with ££££s spent and dont look all that. Kev

The passenger side window is a very common thing. Mine is very slow and if used at the same time as the other electric window is even slower. Think it is just one of those things. I dont have a clue bout the wipers though.]

The only thing bout the cab is it is not fast although it is a 2l. At the mo i get to drive both (but cant mod the cab)

its worth more than that to me as i owes me nearly 10k but at the end of the day u never will get ya money back.

At the end of the day it is a phase1 K plate with 88k on. Wont get much more but what would i buy if i did sell. A fiesta Rs Tub would be nice but then gotta spend loadsa doller getting it as i want it ie wheels etc

yeah think i will get it, I had Pioneer and Sony in the past. Pioneer was ok, not brilliant. Sony was pants and broke after 6months or so. Alpine are the dogs though so might look into them
