Not sure if they're related..
A friend has had some issues with his 182 for a while now (limp home mode, heartbeat, cutting out)
I've replaced the coil pack, throttle body with no luck previously. He got a P0302 code one time so we replaced the fuel rail today with one from my spare 172 -
I...
Where/how do I do this? popped off the fuel rail guard and removed the injectors. Only thing left to do is disconnect it from the fuel line itself but no idea how that clip thingy disengages.
As per title, back end shot out and i side slammed a sign post. I've informed insurance and taken it to the approved body shop.
Damage doesn't look like a write off to me at face value (rear quarter, door needs beaten out a little and some paint, sill and skirt are screwed) ... But when...
When I bought the CTR, I decided I was going to strip the clio and/or put the engine in a Mk1 shell. Over time I stripped bits, a mate need a coil pack and throttle body to diagnose some potential faults he had/has with his 182 so I duly obliged as the weather was crap and I wasn't really making...
Bargain to be had here...

The rest of the car is mint, aside from the ruined seat, it's not straight and has brake fluid in the power steering reservoir ?!?
Hi,
I currently own a private plate on my 172, which I wish to transfer to my new EP3.
Currently my insurance premium is on my 172 and I will xfer the policy to the Civic upon transferring the registration. When I bought the Reg, I was able to get plates made up with the ownership document of...
Got the wife some of this for her Lupo GTi - Any problems with me running it in the 172?
I've searched and found that 10w40 is fine, somewhat preferred for a 2003 172, however I seen no reference to semi synthetic.
Cheers
Bought an RSTuner on here a while back, backed up my files and also bought some from henk.
IVe forgot what file is what though :o
Can anyone help me identify what's original?

Ok, I have a little issue regarding my 'sagging' exhaust. Today I replaced both rear and central exhaust mounts (no issues) but it's definitely sagging around the cat area.
Having a search people said the replace the clamp around there, some mentioned sleeves, some "U-Clamps" - I'm not entirely...
Last year I bought a Bosch S3 battery but they sent the wrong one.
I managed to fit it but had to loose the cold air feed from behind the xenon.
I figured I'd replace the airbox with something a little different, which leads me to my dilemma.
With the reduced space, I only have space for ~5cm...
So I've been having odd issues with my car, pretty long story.
Anyway 10 days ago I drove from work fine, got home, chucked my stuff in my house.... Jumped back into the car and it would not start.
After s few attempts, the dash lights were fading and it was seemingly powerless.
I'm charged...
Recently I've been getting flashed at night so I decided to check out my xenons.
Now I know the passenger one sits a little low as the casing is cracked and not held on to the car at the top.
I've taken 2 photos, first is 'as they sit' the second has my girlfriend holding the case in place so...
Replacing one of my Calipers today, or I planned to - picking it back up Saturday....
I had an issue with my rear brake lines, Ive had to remove them.
I cut the pipe, removed the nut caliper side, but fyrther to the front of the car, the next bolt wont budge.
Maybe its brke fluid on the nut...
Hi,
Just replacing my rear caliper -
What size nut does the main brake line to the caliper have?
Also,
How do I remove the handbrake cable from the caliper itself?

CS millionaires need not reply, I know you dont ever have your tank this empty.
Having issues with fuel dissapearing based on the trip computer after my car cuts out.
Just wondering, how long would you run that for until you *had* to fill up.
More curiosity, I rarely drive the car now anyway...
Since I remapped my 172 with an RSTuner it has been cutting out randomly when revs drop (not always below 1000rpm though)
I've noticed on 2 of the occasions ~60-80 miles of fuel also disappears off of the Trip Computer....
Resulting in something like this:
50 miles left in a ~23% full...
I assume most people with iPhone 4's had their number ported to their micro-sim.
Any idea how long I should expect to wait for the change to take place?
Cheers
Ok, I'm bleeding my brakes for the first time;

Ive tried manual and pressured bleeding (using eazibleed)
Ive read the guides, but just looking for some case specific input / advice.

For a Ph2 172;
Passenger side (relevant?) Hydraulic Fluid Brake Line (that goes to the caliper)
Looking to order one tomorrow but don't have the time to sit in Renault while they locate it.
TIA
Car's booked in for K-Tec's DTH ITB kit next Monday, but I'm curious as to what MPG people are obtaining with similar work done.
I average 26->29 MPG around town (and the odd 70mph / 5th gear journey and the odd blast ;))
Was curious as to how much it'll be affected after the work,
Ive also...
.....
What next?
Greenlight havent charged me for:
ITB's
ECU
Turini's
Cup Spoiler
Lowering Springs
Splitter
Stainless Steel Exhaust
Getting DTH TB's next week, £2,400 is enough but whats the next logical step? New clutch and gearbox?
Also, what power *should* I make?
Thanks for looking...
Around the end of September '09 I noticed my rear drivers side brake disc had cracked, so I parked the car up - and had a mate fit a new set of Rear Discs & Pads.
Recently Ive heard a small noise from the rear of the car but it was alot worse today, nipped out to check...
Ok, so Ive been to my mums this morning, come back.
Decided I'd nip to the shops to get some bread ad milk and the car wont start :(
I have searched the threads, so Ive took note of whats been mentioned in the returned results.

2. I would check if the fuel...
Ok, put the car in for its MOT today, failed miserably.
I cant recall exactly what she said was wrong (not feeling great and was at work)
