Indeed ! it look like a 182 but it is not... the 182 got a flat spot on one of the tubular to improve clearance with subframe, this one has not, also the racing cup is about 2 to 3 cm longer... and for instance I had to modified the k-tek exhaust to be able to fit it properly.

So the first thing I did was to trade those ugly 17 inch rims for a set of OZ F1 Black series with new Continental sport contact3 tyre... that would be my, road gear to use when I'm not on the track....

It is about time that I Introduce my car to you, there is about 6 month to catch up so lot of pics in perspective...
The car was bought near London in Marsh 2011 and was brought back in France to be transformed into a sleeper Track car...
There is a lot to catch up but as for today...
Nope, all Clio 2 sport (phase 1 or not) have the same set-up: in the front, ABS rings are on drive shaft with sensor on the hub; at the rear targets are on the disc it self with sensor on the hub.
To add more informations: they Have 280mm disc with 54mm calliper in the front and 238mm disc...

I'm running Megane R26 Brembos on clio original size Brembo HC disk with blue stuff pas all around... I have the same or very similar breaking power that Carbone Lorraine RC6/RC8 pad with Brembo MAX grooved disk...

yes, correct adaptor and you'll need correct calliper as normal one wont work with 280mm disk...
Well Actually .... to have the same set-up than mine
I Could provide bracket kit to fit the megane 225 and clio197 Brembos onto clio 2...
To use the original disk, you 'll need about 190 quid for the bracket and you'll need Brembo race Clio R3 mud spec calliper like mine, about 170 a piece...
It all depends how you drive, how you use you brake, literally what your driver skill will let you pull out of the car…
I can guarantee you that on some of the roads where I live, 4minutes and the brake of a lighten 172 are gone… pedal on the floor type of heat…
Concerning the track…...
E-stops are not the problem :rolleyes:.... if he starts playing around with his car, on twisty road the first thing that will go will be the breaks....
4 pot brembo from peujot 406 is a winner
you could even had, front caliper from Citroen BX at the rear and you will have a fast relaible...
