yeah got one, lovely bit of kit. fits perfect. Ive got the one with the centre silencer and its quiet tbh. Not much louder than standard which is nice. Its got alot louder now tho cos ive got bodies and the flames have burned everything out of the exhaust (all the wadding etc) Still alot quieter...

even with bodies i get 300 miles out of a tank :)

Seen a set stripped off an impreza that cos 12k and the internals are no different than the AST ones!! In some cases they werent as good. I was shocked myself!! Its a name thing. Good suspension but way, way overpriced!!

It cant possibly be worse on fuel. How??? U just drive faster cos u like the noise thats all.

Its not comparable to a cup racer tho as weve established due to the completely different setup on a racer eg:- longer lower arms etc etc. I just cant stand a car that rolls all over the place. Feels awful.

I kind of agree but it depends how long u want them to last and if u want a hurrendously crashy ride, which is what u dont get with decent coilovers cos the money is spent on quality internals and time is spent get the damping set correctly. If uve not got 1500 to spend then thats fine :)

well yeah but mine are setup to be used with the harder springs. Had a long chat with curtis the other day about all the spring rate stuff and he really thinks id be mad to change it to a softer spring. He did a setup for a lad on here with 400lb front and 450 rear instead of the other way...

Just change the front spring rates to what u want and youll be happy :)

Comparison to AST?? pmsl!! Put simply, they wont be. There 500 quid for a reason mate.

Re: One tip pumping hot, other cold (Milltek) because its the most direct pipe for the gases to naturally exit the exhaust. Really really dont worry bout it at all. :)

becker grand prix is the nearest looking to standard. Pair of pioneers for about 65 quid would be a reasonable upgrade. Pioneer TSE-1376.

a decent headunit will make far more sense and make far more difference than changing the speakers. Its the poor headunit amplifier thats causing the distortion
