take your time unless it'll look my 1st mk1 clio
half pink, quarter burgandy, quarter oe red
impreza scoop and 6" exhaust
had been left in the sea for months
still wish i had it now though :(
i barely clean mine, the more you wash a black car to more swirls you put into it at's always the case, i gave mine a quick wash last week before that was over 2 months ago and before that was about 3 months
my car was on the meguiars top 25 french cars stand at fcs last year and had no problem...
well i've got pipercross viper, matched inlets,182 manifold, decat and yozza exhuast
would my car benifit from this? and would it be best getting a custom map from henk?
no the thin metal strip ones you get in the kit, just dont be a fool like me and try them because once you push them in they dont come back out unlike a cable tie!
if you go to halfords ask for the universal one with 5000 in the serial code, you cut 2 steps of the boot off and the one that is...
yea its still on now, are we talking drivers side? i'm guessing theirs a carrier on each side any way?
theirs no way to dissassemble the carrier, so we put a cut down universal boot in boiling water (7.99 halfords jobie) greased up the carrier, turned the boot inside out then work the boot over...
as far as i'm aware ben the inner cv boots are pressed into the carriers and cant be replaced, unless i'm incorrect? which you have to prove me wrong because i bodged a universal one on until i find out probably get a new driveshaft and polish the arms up
well tha end of the shaft doesnt reallt move so it has 2 clips on it pulled very very tight it'll last me till i get 2 new driveshafts that i can have polished up :)
as you can see the boot is like inside/outside lol i dont know how we can get into the back of the carrier housing either so we can take the bearings off and clean them up and if we'll get away with putting a boot over the carrier rather then being pressed in? like it is in the pic
trying to remove my drivers side driveshaft, i have the track rod disconnected and ball joint ect, the driveshaft is moving freely, undone the 2 13mm bolts on the metal housing on the driveshaft but it still wont come out? how is it removed?
right think i'm just going to fit some new boots myself :)
is their specific part numbers from reno? or can i just get them from a local motor factors?
fitting camber correction bolts today i noticed a huge deposit of grease on my subframe, the os inner cv boot has got a nice hole in it  its only happened within the last few days
do i just need a boot kit or do i have to replace the drive shaft?
any kind of idea of cost?
thinking of...
