My point exactly. I have to buy new springs now because of the cracked one I have at the back so I don't wanna buy something that's not gonna lower it to the amount I want and have to buy another set, which is why I'm here asking for a bit of guidance lol.

My car doesn't really sit high as it is though so that's why I'm wondering if 40mm would be low because looking at it now 60mm will be sitting in the arches lol. Best to go measure the distance from tyre to arch I guess..

Just buy lowering springs. Cheaper. Don't see a need to overspend on a 8valve (I don't because I have an 8v also).

Dual optics, deck it, color code and a dynamique spoiler. Looking nice and clean the way it is. Same as my project (except yours is a lot cleaner).

The ones that came with the car lol No name, 5 spoke ones. GFs dad had them on when I bought the car. The guy I am buying the wheels from said there is around 5mm of thread left on them.. am I right in thinking this is a bit low? Don't wanna buy these then have to change 4 tyres :/.

Ack it's a long story, basically got weak battery acid thrown up the side of it. So that is my last thing to get sorted as it's gonna be ~250 quid. Well get a few pics up and try to get a few things put on before the meet :rasp: I'll hopefully have these new alloys on, lowered and mudflaps off!
