I did it too my 1.4 recently and it flew everywhere. Managed to beat my arch-enemies - vtrs and even a zetec_s!!!!

Well it says 47.9mpg and I pushed ever so softly on the throttle till it got to 83mph ish! it was going downhill though!

I Payed £9050 for my 1.4 16v and I had... Metalic paint, Climate, electric sunroof, mudguards, mats, full tank.... and i part exted my old 306 for more than we could have expected (£2k). So i payed...
Thought it was obvious...
No rear seats/spare/tools/parcel shelf in my 1.4 16v!

Same to you too ad! You really have to reset it every time you slow down from say 70- 30 and then go back to 70 again because its not clever enough to know that british motorists hardly ever get to maintain a steady speed!
About £42 in the 1.4 16v.
Managed £54 (of optimax) in my 1.4 8v 306.
