just use something like a star nut to screw it in, just to make it more difficult, but ultimatly if some one knows you have a good stereo, they will knick it anyway, b******s. keep it turned down near anywhere you park it.

I had a pulsar, and i dont think it was standard, and it was f quick. the speedo gave up at about 130mph so i had to figure out how fast i was going from the revs, but ireckon i had it somewhere between 145 and 150. i have a 16v now which isnt as qquick ass a 172 but its close ish, the pulsar...

i dont have a 172, but try jacking up that side and wobbling the wheel about, if it wobbles, the bearing has gone, thats all i got.

Id certainly be interested, let me know when youre ready, i havent actually looked at my tyres recently, but i dont reckon theyve got far to go.

theres an even older one than the one in the pick, i refer to that as the old one and the one in the pick as the new one becuase the current one in japan (and i guess in aus) has never been available in the u.k.:cry: Plus i know from experience that the sunny pulsar 2.0 turbo is not bullet...

no experience - just an idea my guess would be youre right about the switch, unless its the same switch that operates the back.

Ben - would they fit an old clio? how much do you want for them? why are they sitting in storage? where abouts in the country are you?

I would also like to know, for a start how much does it cost? is it tuned to your car on a rolling road?

wow nick, and i was worried that having bought a cleanable performance element for the standard airbox, id be wasting my money if i got round to getting something like a viper. Youve tried out just about every option!

I like em they definately make a case for themselves, but im not into buying cars new, id probably try and get a second hand tvr or mitsi evo for that sort of money.
