On a 182 decat is easy to change over I'd do it now but get it remapped at the same time as you will gain the best from the decat then

Decat on its own was worse for my car gave it flat spots all over the rev range was s**t taken off quite quickly

Mine was raspy as hell even worse with a decat sounded like a loud of pissed off wasps at higher rpm

that sounds very cheap as i am looking at layup insurance as well and so far the cheapest i could get is £128. might give flux a call if you type into google layup car insurance youw ill find loads.
