A404? Is that the Marlow bypass? If so very fast stretch of road. Exagerates top speeds a bit though what with it being on a gradual hill the full length of the 1st part of bypass. Still, long enough for even a micra to get flat out.

Ok I have a loose knocking/ rattling sound coming from the passenger side front wheel. Sounds like something is majorly loose but it isnt. Only passed MOT on tues. Does anybody have any ideas what this can be. Its recently had new discs and pads, wheel bearing and track rod end on that side...

Id advise you not to tighten them up as tight as you can go. Definately a good way about looking for trouble. Will go find it in a few mins for you. Ive got it in a book upstairs.

When i come through the gearbox when slowing down from about 2500rpm downwards the engine jerks about, clutch down and its fine. Am i right in thinking its the gearbox mount as it has as far as i know never been changed, and my car now has 97k on the clock. Cheers.
