Lol gally the best tar remover on the market is definetely the Tardis - horrible stuff though lol, spilt some on my drive and practically melted it (mother went mad!)
G101 as a cleaner/degreaser is spot on though. I mainly use mine for the engine bay, wheel arches and scrubbing down the tyres.
I've found the often praised Hankook v12 evo's to be a little twitchy and not the greatest in the wet...
That said, have you only just had them fitted? When I first had four new Toyo Proxes fitted to my Clio, I chucked it round a roundabout to test them out, lifted off a bit and the back end...
If you think you're in a position to buy a 172/182, you've also got to consider if you're in a position to pay for repairs, servicing, insurance etc. Thats the mistake some people make.
Same as JCC, I had this 'carry on' (lol :o) on my 1.2 16v...won't rev past like 3k when it goes into limp mode? Occurs intermittently?
A wierd thing I noticed was once I stopped using Supermarket fuel it never came back whilst I owned it. Not saying that was the cause/solution to the problem...
When the MK2 came out in '98 I couldn't stand the rear end. Never thought I'd end up owning one, actually a good looking car (well the phase two anyway!) Good fun too.
