Yeah go into printer settings and set it up to print greyscale as a default Go file print, preferances, one of the tabs is color, go in there and set it up as grey scale :)

I'm guessing because PC's are generally a lot cheaper, can be self built and usually come with software bundles... Mac do non of the above as far as I know...
