Is it not possible to do some of this with a custom map. Surely the r****d and the increase in fuel anyway. I know this might mean the car will be sh*t all the time the gas isnt flowing but I have an idea. If you had two ECUs installed in the car and you set them up so you could switch between...
shared alright ,but is there not two filaments inside the single bulb, the brake one would appear to be burnt out on yours, Ben J is right try swapping the bulb and then youll know, most likely is blown bulb.

Valver and willy appear to have more street cred than 172 (I know people are going to shout at me for that). If i was you i would not spend 7 odd grand on a 172, spend 4K on a mint valver or 5k for a willy and then send it to hill power for heads, cams, exhaust and chip etc, get a nice set of...
Will be end of the week, as am away with work till friday and didnt transfer photos to computer before i left, sorry will do it then, hope thats cool guys.

I have a PiperX ind. Kit and it has been on and off several times. You will not gain any power, and if there is insufficient cold air reaching it, youll actually probably lose some. However they sound wonderfull, specially on a valver as the kits goes directly onto throttle housing, within an...
My exhaust is on way out, and quite fancy a new stainless one, preferably with de-CAT pipe. However my valver is a M plate and so is supposed to require one for MOT. Has anybody got a car, thats supposed to have a CAT, but it hass been replaced with a de-CAT through an MOT, without any shady...
Not sure what you mean, are you trying to replace and existing loom for foglights you already have, or are you wishing to fit your own fogs. You can easily make one up for your Clio for a matter if a few squid on a relay, wires and connectors. Could give you a few pointers ,if you wanted, if you...

Back on the go, and silence is golden, only problem now is with the back bearings done, I can here a slight rumble of the front ones (need to be done in the near future), but essentially there is only tyre noise from the wheels now.
Rockport, will need to get pics onto my computer first...
It would appear that Prima can do quality work and do sell some nice stuff, but thier customer relations is sh*t, and they cant be arsed running about trying to get stuff in the post, so they are very slow at delivering stuff.

Ive heard people say Mintex and Ferodo (Sure I heard one rebrands some of the others to sell on - not positive) are good, and not too pricy. Think 19 and Clio 16v might be the same, but couldnt be sure, somebody will know, just wait for them to post.

Did a disappearance from work this afternoon to get bearings pressed in, mate did it at work, so should be back motoring the night. Had to use the folks cars, hadnt driven my mums new one yet, was quite impressed. Rover 25 1.6IL, suprisingly quick, 70 in second and almost a tonne in third...
In the middle of doing my rear wheel bearings (all stripped down) which were a very reasonable £18 +VAT each from andyspares (do we get a discount from them - i never asked, internet order).
However, have heard in past that a press is required to remove them, I had a wee bash with a socket...
Disagree, think if he has a valver already, he is as well just getting a 2ltr conversion as good willys are hard to buy cheaply, and although it might be a better investment in the long run, a good un is going to cost. To me the only interest a willy has over a standard 16v is simply the 2ltr...
I had the opposite, my car was quiet when cold, but once warmed up there was a hellish clonk going round slow right handers, i.e urban driving with 90 degree turns and the clonk was coming from front right of the car.
I couldnt suss it, and I asked everybody and thier dog for an opinion after...
