I locked up and hit a curb last night! But this morning I checked the damage and it now has no gears / there's No biting point ! The service light has come on too! Any ideas why ? There seems to be no other damage under the car apart from this ( in the pic)

As title says, is this a problem or normal, should i do anything befor any damage is done ? It's all the time not just when first start up !

ive had some issues with the handling of the 172 cup since I got it and took it to get the tracking done, the guy noticed it was looking for the gear selecta, could anyone shine any light on this for me as I know nothing about cars many thanks mark
