Agreed - had one on an Astra (yeah, I know) and no matter what I did it had two positions 45 degrees up or 45 degrees down. Worst 100 quid I ever spent.

Just remember the exits are here, here and here and that, in the event of an emergency, your seat cushion will be totally useless!
They really do take seconds to fit - just dont do what butter fingers here did and drop the plastic nuts (both of them - damn Im a dickhead!) under the car - must have wasted about 10 minutes shifting a rear lightless car on and off the drive to get the bloody things back.
When I changed the clocks on my Mini (real Mini - not compact BMW - sorry still got a bee in my bonnet about that one!) a while back I was told that as long as I declared this if I ever sold it, so that the real milage could be calculated, everything was OK.

Did mine this morning as well and just like you telford-mike, I inadvertently created an ice rink - still it was fun watching the bloke next door who always cuts the top of our drive go a over t. And the kids in our street have had an enjoyable sliding competition this afternoon! :)
