To seriously game on a pc you have to be a bit of a geek really and be into your hardware. Consoles are boring! I dread to think what I've spent on pc components over the years but building / upgrading / fiddling is something I enjoy. That doesn't mean you have to buy the most expensive, latest...
£14.99 more but worth thinking about: http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=GX-050-GI&groupid=701&catid=56&subcat=927
That is assuming you have a PCI-E slot, a decent power supply and a case it will fit in.
I use a 2nd internal HDD. Cheaper than an external and obviously holds more than removable media. Just move everything across you want to keep, things like bookmarks can be backed up from within your browser.
Using the gold release (ultimate x64). Only thing I still have an issue with is lexmark drivers. My all in one printer is currently only a printer. No ETA on when compatible software/drivers will be released.
Isn't the drum built into the toner cartridge?
Aside from low ink I haven't a clue what would cause that. Is it a brand new branded toner or a re manufactured one as it's possible it really does have low ink. Give it a good shake and see if it's any better.
You can buy them all over the place. Just make sure you get the right size and check the connector, some are molex and some are 3pin. You can get converters though.
Naa that's fiddly unscrewing them and time consuming. A quick switch around takes seconds ;)
Another favourite was unlugging mice and keyboards and putting them in peoples bags with them blatantly on show and then making a bit of a commotion about them nicking stuff lol
Go for a decent brand they should last a lot longer. (check the warranty length)
This is the one I bought: http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=CA-004-PP&groupid=701&catid=123&subcat=1104 no problem recommending it.
Not noticed what speed it downloads but a 60min programme takes about 8 minutes for me on iplayer. Watched loads of stuff i didn't even know was on recently namely Torchwood, Psychoville and Crod Mandoon.
With v-sync on WoW gives me 60FPS which to my eye appears perfect. I can't see any difference between 60FPS and a few hundred FPS to be honest. Think I read somewhere that 30-60FPS is the norm.
Re: iPhone Software 3.0 - Out 17/6 & iPhone 3GS - Out 19/6
It seems slow to respond to touching the screen. Say for example you watch something on bbc iplayer, touch the screen to bring up the control to pause etc I'm having to tap and tap and tap. Sometimes takes 5 or 6 taps before it...
Re: iPhone Software 3.0 - Out 17/6 & iPhone 3GS - Out 19/6
I haven't themed it? Just stuck my own background on and removed the carbon from behind the dock.
This is the one I used on 2.2.1
I don't see how changing a background makes it unreadable. It's not like you need the names of the...
Re: iPhone Software 3.0 - Out 17/6 & iPhone 3GS - Out 19/6
Has anyone got the 5 row QWERTY keyboard to work on a jailbroken 3.0 ?
The option to turn in on/off is there but I don't get the little globe in the actual keyboard to enable it. I've tried rebooting with it on and off.

Just JB my 3G via Windows 7
This guide worked a treat: http://www.redmondpie.com/unlock-and-jailbreak-iphone-os-3.0-using-redsn0w-on-windows-and-mac/comment-page-1/
Nothing really, jpeg's (usual default image format) is already compressed. Best way to reduce the file size is to physically reduce the image size. I tend to resize to 800x600 when sending pics or uploading them anywhere.
Why can I watch some videos on an iphone/ipod and others say they're not compatible? I've been through my youtube account settings and can't see anything to do with this, nor in the help section.
What has what I do for a living got to do with anything? If you must know I care for my disabled Mrs 24/7. I used to work in tech & customer support for an ISP with an educational background in IT and a keen personal interest.
Windows will use more than 4GB if it's available. There's a few...
Well unless he's running Windows 7 32bit or a 64bit OS the extra gig will be wasted. I'm guessing that he bought 4GB because he wanted to use all 4, I may be wrong though! By legacy applications I take it you mean ancient apps that aren't even supported any more but have modern versions that...
Never tried it myself but: http://www.msnvirusremoval.com/download.php
Also change your password in case you've inadvertently given it away on some dodgy web form or something.
I'm after the bikini bottom map but can't seem to find it anywhere. I know it exists as I played it about 2 years ago.
Ah never mind, finally found it! On the off chance someone else finds themselves here looking for it as well then here's the link...
