14.6 to 100mph..... 3.2s better than the 182 :)
but I guess it depends on what mag you read/believe, every 182 I've had behind me has stayed behind me by a long way too....lol
live your dreams guys, if it makes you feel better ;)
Simon
yeah mate but the M3 is to the V6 as the V6 is to the 182, simple....
my point is the m3 is faster than a v6 by the same margin as the V6 is faster than the 182.......and looks 10 times better too....
but hey if you prefer a shopping trolly then the 182 wins over....lol
oh and btw you don't...
People go on about how fast BMW M3's are, yet they are only about 1s to 60mph and 3s to 100mph faster than a V6 255, the V6 255 is faster than a 182 by the same margin as the M3 is to the V6 255 ;)
A new M3 costs £15,000's more than a new V6 255, so does that mean that the M3 is not worth it...
I will keep an eye on the Quads then, as I have a 8800GTX but only 2gb of ram, and was thinking a quad and another 8800GTX for SLI at some later this year :)
Simon
Yeah I know they are out now, but I won't pay £600 for a chip :(
in 6 months the price will plumet, as all chips do, then that will be my next upgrade :)
for now my 5200+ dual core will have to do....lol ;)
Simon
Well with Gordon shitbrown putting the V6 Road Tax up to £400 a year now, and god know how much in the future?, a small engined Turbo sounds like a damn good idea right now.....untill he bans modding, that is :(
Simon
It doesn't seem much between the performance of both Intel and AMD's dual cores imho, my next perchase will a QUAD CORE, Intel or AMD (if they have one out in the next 6 months?) :)
Simon
An old school mate of mine died by being thrown out of a rolling car, his mate, who had his seatbelt on, escaped serious injury by being kept in the car....
Simon
vee's are small, well they are 150mm (6") lower than a 197.... ;) and same width at mirrors as a 182, but body a bit wider :)
looks good in Racing Blue :)
Simon
Any of these colours grab you..lol ;)
Trouble with MARS RED is that it looks a bit PINK in low light....I therefore nomally try to take photo in direct sunlight..lol ;)
Racing blue looks cool I reckon :)
Simon
Was just going to say the same, otherwise, its cool I reckon....I would, if my wife would let me... ;)
Infact if i could blow £20k on a PC, I'd get a Dymanics 301.... ;)
Simon
I would have thought so due to it power to weight? my old 200bhp 5GTT would piss all over my V6 due to its weight.
I would never call the V6 a supercar either, but it has a supercar layout/looks (like your VX, only with better pwr to wight...lol)
Simon
You don't really believe your 1.2 does 0-60mph in 8.7, do you?
those time vary so much, they must be way off?
what specs are the 1.2, ie bhp and kerb weight?
Still as long as it makes you happy, I guess it was a good buy..... ;)
Simon
The performance calc will give you an idea of speed, but if its really 226bhp then it will be around this,
Power at Flywheel (BHP) : 226
Weight without Driver (KG) : 1415
Power to Weight Ratio (BHP Per Ton) : 162.28
0 - 60 (Secs) : 6.57
0 - 100 (Secs) : 17.17
60 - 100 (Secs) ...
