Is that a decat that cuts off the flanges of your current pipes?
If so it will not be easy to swap back and forwards come MOT time.
I ask because Powerflow quoted me a fairly cheap price but explained they'd have to weld it into the system.
Incidentally, any other N80 users will notice my Internet and TomTom are sideways in landscape format.
This is not because it's now an Internet Edition but because I use a very handy program called rotateMe.
I have an N80 updated to Internet Edition.
Decent camera with a pretty decent flash. Wifi. Radio. But it's the fact I've got things like SmartMovie on it (much better than RealPlayer), LCG Jukebox (much better than Nokia music player) and TomTom6 on it.
With a 2gb card on it, I've got room...
Agreed ^^ by the time you pay for it all and insure legit.
I saw a decent 03 172 for £7k but you can get 51's for less than 5k unless you want something newer?
I said it last time and again this time, it looks like a Bic Razor on the back.
The crapest mod I've ever seen.
Would look stupid on a Skyline or Supra but on a car most people view as a womans shopping trolley (my 172 included in that) that is just beyond reason.
That's hilarious!
So you don't even get the filter? Quality!
A tube with a fan in it! £50 lol!
Be interesting to see how many he'll sell and what sort of feedback he'll get.
What in tarnation?!

^^ really?
Is is like a quite tinny tinkley noise rather than a rattle?
I'm in two minds as to for go for a second hand cat and risk the same happening again or go for a sports cat.
Anyone got any opinions on the Janspeed one that Demon Tweeks do?
Cheers.
My standard 172 cat is rattling like mad. Passes emissions test but I've been told the honeycomb inside is broken?
Does this sound feasible?
I'm getting a tinny rattle noise on acceleration at 2k and 4k.
It's not the 4k rattle as I've had my centre section replaced 6 months ago...
I'm thinking of getting a sports cat but liking the idea of a decat.
Few questions, bearing in mind I have recently had a standard centre and rear section fitted at Renault....
Is a decat much louder?
Is it easy to fit? I'm thinking it'll be hard to get access to the screws at the...
Well....
The back box is held on by the centre pipe and one rubber mount on the left hand side of the box.
My pipe split and the exhaust swung down to the right so I tied it up hoping it'd last til the weekend.
Wrong! It snapped at the pipe altogether when driving two days later (the...
Mine fell off about a month ago.
Renault wanted £170 for the backbox fitted.
I said I can get a stainless steel one for similar price.
They did it for £160 fitted and supplied and fitted a mount free (£22 on k-tec). Yours might not need the mount.
I only went for the Renault one as...
I've read about it but not looked at it yet.
I've tried google maps though.
Dammit, I really want to get this rotateme thing working as I'd find it so handy for web browsing. Plus I don't like not being able to get things to work when I know other people have got it working.
It won't...
Apparently there's a new file that allows you to do this on any application ie internet pages, tomtom, anything you like.
Very handy I'd imagine.
Can I heck get it to work.
Thing is, it's an unsigned file and you have to get it signed.
Major pain in the butt and although many others...
Centre section and back box, fitted through Renault, £380 sounds about right.
If you're going to get both done, you could get a performance stainless steel Cat back system (ie centre and back pipes) for about £300.
On my old Saxo VTS I had a Powerflow cat back system, stainless steel...
I recently had my back box go and it had a split in the pipe at the back to the box, the side facing forwards.
Fell off after two days and needed a new back box.
Just got a standard Renault one though: 160 sheets.
As long as the tyre wear indicator is lower than the tread on the tyre is this ok?
I know this is fine for the wheels in use but just want to check it's fine for the spare too.
I'm going to use a tyre on the car currently, as a spare and using the brand new spare tyre on the car. That way...
