Splitter is just for looks really. Does make a good bit of difference, just keep it away from speed bumps.
Most 172's in Australia & NZ were sold with 15" speedlines as opposed to 16" ones that we get over here. I think its only the 182's that got 16's.
Best colour, I have one too. Must be...
I will need an aftermarket cat-back system soon as mine fell apart last winter and got bodged together, it is my THIRD exhaust since i bought the car about 4/5 years ago. I want a system that is hidden and no more louder than standard. I think prospeed have one of the best reputations on here.
Spotted opposite the council buildings parked behind a white Fiesta ST (with go-faster stripes) and in front of an AA van (with go-faster orange sirens). Just after midnight Thursday.
Unlucky!
I ordered a new headlamp 'shell' and it came today, but the new headlamp unit is loose inside, one of the white clip/fixings has broken. The clip in question is the one to the upper right in the picture. Can I replace this with one from my current headlamp or is it fixed? I don't want to f**k...
Have given up on meets and I don't spend any time on any forums anymore, got a lot of work on at the moment because I'm helping a mate open a new bar in town (behind Fenwicks & Waterstones on Bowling Green St)
Kinda given up on modding and cars for now anyway, always skint. Might rejoin things...
saw u in asda oadby a couple of weeks ago lisa, yes that was me that waved at you in the flamer. havent been on here for ages so didn't know you had a ph-quick! where is the valver?
I've tried these settings; http://www.filesaveas.com/o2wap.html but I can't get it to fuggin work... 'Cannot resolve hostname' keeps cropping up.
Anyone help?
Steve.
Can you use the itouch as a mass storage device? a review here: http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/tg/detail/-/B000JNYWBG/?tag=price4269-20 indicates that you can't. bummer?!
The thing that would be great is if I could download a map or some directions at home or work over the wifi, then whilst in the car with the iTouch offline obviously, be able to access the downloaded maps/pdf/?
Is there a release date for the new apple iTouch software?
A local computer exchange place has the following pods in stock, I'm trading in a few things and late on this arvo I'm going back in to get one but I'm not sure which one to get?
- 8gb/16gb iTouch for about £145/£215
- 160gb Classic for £200
- 8gb Nano for around the ton mark
There...
I'm going to add a Netgear WG602 from home tomorrow morning when I have another bash at it.
I think its the NAT, DHCP stuff thats making it go haywire. They don't make this easy. The modem/router has a fixed ip of 192.168.1.254. If I wire that modem directly into one of the AP's, assign that...
Is there another way of connecting access points to modem/routers other than via cabling or WDS? WDS halves the throughput or something doesn't it because it has to re-transmit the data?
There is nowhere within the router itself to actually manually enter the mac address of the AP. With wds set to auto-register mode it should automatically register new stations. On register mode it scans for any active WDS connections and should list them before you allow it to connect with that...
Router is WDS compatible, but on the page where it would display the networks it shows nothing. Just;
Accessible Access Points;
WDS SSID BSSID Channel Noise
'There are no networks detected.'
I've set up the MAC addresses on the AP's but the modem has 3 options for WDS; auto join...
Going to try to keep this simple;
AOL Broadband is wired via the phoneline into a Speedtouch 585 v6 Wireless Modem/Router as usual. Everything works fine wireless wise...
Trying to get the access shared a few floors down where I work...
I have two Buffalo Wireless access points flashed...
I didn't want to have to put too much pressure on the front brakes as they are in need of a change!
Aye was good to have a decent drive with another 1*2 thats local! Rarely see any others that take notice of my 172. All other RS's around here are driven by old binnies!
Saw a blue one come flying up my arse so moved over and then had a spirited convoy through the traffic this midday. 03 plate Cup I think, looked lowered with silver bump strips iirc.
Can't have been trying because I managed to keep up in the ph-slow!
Thumbs up at the end, cheers!
Lol! Bit extreme!? There are two small lips at the side and a big one in the middle, might have to have a go at the small ones if I'm to have any joy.
This Stevie Wonder chap has a lot to answer for.
Ok, just been out to have another go at fitting this damn thing properly.
It still doesn't sit right, few mm high to the centre/drivers side, whenever I open or close the boot, it rubs on the roof, which is not good because its eventually going to scrape off the paint obv.
Have tried...
Help me sort out my WiFi and I'll throw you a few beers! I can't figure out the wireless access points, and its driving me insane, only one of them works so we only have wifi thruout half of the bar.
At the end of the 'Mad Mile' on Narboro' Road I was in a ph-slow flamer turning right and you passed me to go straight on with your foglights on... I will assume the switch is stuck to 'on', as it was pretty clear out tonight! :rasp:
