Luckily the interior on my model isnt that bad. The seats could have a bit more side support but with the funny steering wheel angle Im not sure if sport seats will adapt well, especially if youre sitting a lot lower. Ive heard of a lad that had Cobra sidewinders in his 1.2 but that was a bit...
I can get over 190kph out of the car, just under the rev limiter, but it seems to take longer than before to reach that speed. Low down torque has suffered a bit from the cat removal but it does seem to rev more freely from 3000rpm and has definately freed up a few horses.
I also have to...
I sourced some rubber bends from a local jetski shop, basically theyre part of an exhaust from a jet bike.
Samco would be your best bet as I had to muck around a lot with the bends and had difficulty finding the right angled pieces.
Ive got pretty much the same mods except that my exhaust...
At last! A 1.6 8v owner!
Ive had similar problems with getting cold air to my filter. I too have a K&N which was sent to me by a friend in UK (Im in Spain).
The only solution I have found to work is using some lorry exhaust flexible tubing along with parts of the old Green filter I had...
Wheels - Theyre not really my cup of tea... too much chrome and no gaps. Multispokes suit it much better (see Steve Ankers car in the gallery! - Nice!) but thats just my opinion.
Headklights - Hehe - beat ya to it!
Painting the headlights is a pretty straightforward process Firstly remove...
If in doubt the best thing you can do is to create a test html document with wordpad and use that to see if your coding is right before posting, that way avoiding all the frustration that comes from getting it wrong. http://community.theunderdogs.org/smiley/misc/crying.gif
Ned.
OK, if you insist, heheh
I think youll find that youre pointing at a thumbnailed image and not the full sized picture.
Ive removed the .thumb reference at the end of the link youve posted

I dont like the black ones... the car gets dirty enough as it is, black wheels will make it look worst. Silver shiny ones or it aint worth the cash Im afraid.
Oooooo! Arent they shiny!
I was thinking of TSW Flys, Momo Quasar 2 or a multispoke design for the swap but Im sure theyll weigh twice as much as the OZs.
Air meter thingy? have I got one of those? There is a pipe which goes into the resonance chamber, dunno if thats it, also, theres a rectangled plastic sensor thing which had to be fitted to a metal strip on the header. could it be that?
My engines the 1.6e btw.
I used to have a Green...
Im eager to see what ppl think too... the time has come to change my dated alloys for something a bit more spectacular to go with the bodykit. Problem is that if I fit 17s I have to get an engineer do a study and coff up even more cash so Im put off a bit by that (Spanish homologation laws).

Yuck! das ist sh*te! Those small wide wheels make cars look like roller skates.
A mullet and dodgy tash would give you a much cheaper german look.
No offence.
I used part of a lorry exhaust and some rubber bends from a jetski exhaust to get the filter in the battery compartment. It works very well in there as its the ideal place to shield it from the heat.
I might try one of those companies if they can export stuff.
Ned...
Get yourself some cool aluminium mats - then you wont have to worry about them every time it rains or you tread in doggy doo! A quick wipe leaves them like new!
I built an amp rack sandwiched between the rear seats - its basically a board with the amps facing towards the front of the car so you cant see them from the boot area. The back of the amp rack is a sort of T shape so the rear suspension turrets hold it in place. I screwed another board on top...
Most tweeters come with several mounting brackets in the box so whatever size you get you should be able to fit them. If the worst comes to the worst just stuff the holes under the dash with blutack and stick the tweeters on top. You should adjust the angles and listen to them before replacing...
