Nope. Ive been a bit slack with fitting mine! But fear not, I will fit next week when Im off work. I keep looking at the front struts and think I cant hide these away under the arches!. They look too good. lol. Ill get some pics up when theyre done.
I was in a simliar boat when I renewed my insurance last week (although mine wasnt a write off). I found Elephant and Admiral to be by far the cheapest. I went with Elephant in the end as they still undercut Admiral by a 100 quid.
Im 21 and my insurance is £1400 on a 10 month policy.
No idea how you managed 47mpg, especially if you were driving it hard. Ive never seen more 40 in my 172 even when doing an average 56mph for a couple of hours I only managed 39mpg! Be interesting to see if you can repeat that 47mpg
Like the others have said they just pull off. Theyre a f**ker to get back on tho. Well it is on mine anyway! I cant get the bit at the bottom to slot back into the top of the dash properly.
No need for a photoshop, this one has had it done already:

Insured with elephant at the moment, just till my policy runs out then Im jumping ship as I dont have any faith in their claims procedures. Off to Direct Line in August and its a load cheaper too. :)Z
I had to make a claim through Admiral...
I just got a fantastic quote from Elephant on my 172. I was going to stay with Admiral but theyve been dragging their heels a bit on my renewal so it looks like elephant have come and stolen it from under their nose!
One question for anyone who is currently with Elephant: What are they like...
Ha, itll be the same Clio that was spotted in this thread then...

Pah, on looks alone the Mercielago beats the Gallardo in every respect. They look absolutely amazing in the flesh.
6.2L V12 Mmmmmmm:D. Far more manly than the happy little 5.0L V10 you get in the Gallardo. hehe
Nooooooooo, yet another sighting of a Red 172 in Lincoln and its not me again!!! Keep your eyes peeled mate! lol
On a side note, that stretch of the A46 is a quality bit of private runway for local residents eh?;)

Open the bonnet and check that they put an engine in there. It is renault after all....
I believe that Roamer was also very grateful for his bucket seats when he had an accident last year. It possible to slide out of a reguler seatbelt if the car starts flying around. Theres almost no chance of that happening with a seatbelt harness.
Im going to look into getting some bucket...
I rarely get the chance to open it up on the daily commute. Sometimes Ill take the back roads home to stretch the legs a little but the roads are generally too busy for any decent fun.
I make a point of taking it out at the weekend tho to get my moneys worth. Dont mind thrashing it at all. I...
Halfords Shampoo, bucket and sponge. If Im feeling flush then I might even dry it off afterwards.
If I want it polishing then Ill just get my bro to do at his work as hes a valeter. I certainly cant be arsed with polishing the car by hand myself.
I really cant see the point in going to great...
