Are they? Cool if they are. Ive gotta ring them up next week about some lowering springs and Im not looking forward to it!
Never get people flashing their lights at me after Ive overtaken tbh. But these xenons piss me off, Im always getting people flashing their lights at me when Im going in the opposite direction, even tho Ive lowered them down a rediculous amount. I was behind some bell-end in a z3 who put his...
Correct. I had a side impact in mine and the side airbag in the seat went off. All it did was inflate right into the back of my arm and give me a massive bruise, then to add insult to injury it costs a sh*tload to replace. I can understand why they did steering wheel airbags but all the others...
I got a copy of my RT key cut no probs at a High Street place. Only really worth going to reno if you want the fob to work as well. I got mine done as an emergency backup so I wasnt too fussed about the RCL working.
Now then ICE lovers, Im after some suggestions on a new setup Ive got planned for the 172. I listen to mostly rock and metal in the car so Id like a system that suits that.
Its all going to run off a Pioneer mp77 for now, but the rest of the gear will be new. The budget will probably be around...

Is it just my PC playing up, or is this site f**ked?
Excellent, thanks for the replies fellas. It seems like this is a pretty goo deal then.
One question I do have, do you have to subscribe to any updates for these or is it simply a case of buying a new maps now and again and thats it?
cheers

^^ I might be getting one of these through work and I want to now if it works...
You may have a few issues with 16s. I had 15s on my lowered RT and it was a close fit. Some people get no problems it all with the wheels, others have rubbing just with 15s. At worst it should only be a case of hacking up the inner arch liner to stop them rubbing.
lol, no one expects to crash mate! But the last thing you want is to have to make a claim and then be worrying if your insurance is gonna be voided, especially if you hit another car/person.
If was as good as you say then Id be inclined to see about getting it and taking off the nos, although...

^^ agree but its very heavy and will effect accelaration...
Cheers for your reply Willy Williams (great name!). Ive kind of confused the issue in my original post. If I got a Williams then Id be inclined to keep it mostly standard. However, if I could pick up a 2.0 valver then thered be a bit more scope for midifications.
But I take your point. It...
Or vice versa I suppose.
For various reasons Im probably going to get rid of the 172 next year. Im looking at getting something cheaper that I can afford to modify. The Williams is one of the options Im looking at (another possible is a valver with a 2.0 unit which I could really go to town...

The standard engine note is very quiet. It can start to sound a bit harsh up at the top end as well but not noisy as such. I like the sound on mine more now that Ive got a Viper kit on. Gives a nice noise once you pass 4k revs.
Smokey does a pair for £10. (Or at least he used to...) Dead easy to fit. Just unscrew the old bulb and screw in the new one. Probably the easiest job there is on a car! lol
Makes a big difference to the front end as well once fited. Deffo worth doing.
