i checked all the fuses in the bay and in the car.
the relays i just swaped them around eg. swaped the first relay with the third one etc.
windows, wipers, radio, lights all work perfect.
only thing that seamed weird was the indicator stalk.indicate right works perfect but indicate left nothing...
the fuel pump is priming when on pre-ignition and the fuel is getting to the fuel rail.the immobiliser light omes on when on pre-ignition and goes out after 3/4 seconds.
But if it was a relay, fuse or bad earh would it stop the diagnostic getting a reading?

Hey guy's, Was at the mechanics today and changed all the relays in the U.C.H but still no luck, so now he tells me to get a new U.C.H box along with the E.C.U, key&barrel. Should this get her firing?

I have indeed..... Iv even talking it to a mechanic to plug her in and have a look as seen as I couldn't see anything wrong but he's saying he can't get a reading at all

Iv the sparkplug arrangment on right so, phew!
Iv the earth on the top of the gearbox double checked,
Iv also the earth strap from gearbox-to-chassis double checked... hell even triple checked at this stage!
Im slightly stumped about the last one your talking...

checked inside car yes.all that was really there was the fuse for the radiator iirc.

well i man'ed up and gave the engine to the mechanic yesterday evening.
but no code is comming up on the laptop for him:mad: so he dont even know whats wrong with it.he cant figuire out why no power is going to the coil pack.
he is going to disconnect the battery and leave it "drain" till...
checked the two earth points both seamed fine but cleaned them anyway still no go.

no still got my ph1 ecu i thought the engine were the same so all you had to do was to change engine??

It flashes as normal then when you put in the key after 3 secs it goes away same as my ph1 1.2
so don't think it's the immobiliser or hope not :(

I cleaned the earth from the front of the gearbox to the chassis but still won't start.
Also looked at the relays but the connections looked fine.
Any other ideas? Don't really wanna take it to a mehcanic tomorrow as he will prob charge me €150 to €200 as he will plug it...

well "new" from the scrappys means "new" to me:).
from renault just go to renault give them your VIN number and tell them you want a new window switch.no idea off a price
well i think there the same as a ph1 172 soo you cant buy the bulbs inside them as the bulbs have EXTRA long metal wires
so best thing to do is go to the scrappys or if you want a new one you have to buy a new button from renault.
