yes you need a different cable and you need to take the top of the dash off. its very easy to do though.5 screws iirc

i thought the ecu,uch and the key were coded together? i swaped a key and barrel before and it didn't work i had to get it coded

your car or the new car has the alarm? i doubt they removed the original immobiliser.they prob just added a alarm. did you swap over the uch,key barrel?

its called the UCH look up the passenger footwell and under where the fuse's go there is a bigish box with wires going into it. you will also need the key barrell from your working car

hi i was thinking about getting a 1.2/1.2tce. it would be a 2008 model as its cheaper tax for cars made 2008+ i was wondering if ALL "ripcurl" models were tce? is it only the front bumper thats changed from the ph1/2? also is it only the engine thats different from the 1.2/1.2tce? thanks:)

hi fellas i got a radio from a friend ages ago just put it into my 1.2 today. it's the original radio with the lcd in the radio itself(eg no seperate display) but im getting no sound from the radio?? tried it in my 172 as well but no sound either:( any ideas?

they came with Mk1 clio valvers(1.8) also renault 19's(1.8)
