My my that is some serious careful motoring. I used to try and drive all m'way miles at 56mph. Mind numbingly dull, but sometimes more difficult than just driving faster than everyone in lanes 2 and 3. I just accept the cost of fuel now, and drive like I stole it.
I would spend a bit more mate. I know you don't want to, but it's so whack when you fit new tyres that are awful and have to drive them for months and months and months.... I put 4 Yoko jobbies on last time and I would recommend you have a go of my sister before I recommend them to anyone!

If you're finding it hard to get 2 optical inputs MAPLIN do a splitter that will join two inputs fro £8 and the even do a switch for more inputs.
I tried a splitter from eBay which didn't work, but the Maplin one actually works really well.
use an abrasive on the contacts the bulb touches, clean everything and oil the metal bits. then try again, check fuses etc! I'm gonna have to do mine, will prob' end up getting the tin foil out!
I can't get Channel Five, and wanted to watch the Gadget Show and Fifth Gear via their website: http://demand.five.tv/Home.aspx
I start streaming, watch the annoying advert and then the programme loads. I get audio, but NO video.
I'm using Vista Basic and have tried installing all the...

Now it's loads better, just doesn't always start first time. Usually second time, which I can live with!
Where's the TDC sensor Brun?
Ok cheers, I've installed it already having done loads of searches and found nothing about installation. Hopefully my starting woes should be sorted having replaced this and the t'body.
They replaced mine this morning. Two visits, plenty of annoyed calls to reno UK (who were v.nice actually) an hour wait the first time, and an hour and a half this morning later and I'm sorted.
What will be different from when I had a mooch over your car Dave? It was proper noisy then, seemed to handle sweet as a fookin nut, be quite rapid and looked like piranhas had eaten all the fat from your car and left you with one big muvafukin induction set up.
I've rec'd a replacement throttle pedal, and I thought the Haynes manual covered the calibration process, it just covers the calibration of the throttle body.
Can someone enlighten me please?
Thanks, John
ok just and update. I fitted and calibrated a mint throttle body i bought from Has off've here. Test drove it last night, was faultless. This morning, the black beauty wouldn't start. Turned over on the starter like a trooper, but wouldn't start until 5th attempt! I've a new throttle pedal in...
standard 172 wheels. Found the cause, swapped the wheels over, wobble gone. Now i need to get my tyres swapped. And i've got 2 nails in my old tyres. Nice! Just hope it's my wheels that are at fault, and not the new tyres... Or i'll have to live with the wobble. Thanks for all the suggestions.
