Ive not had any probs with mine, had quite a few millteks on other cars (cooper s and 197) also had no problems with those. I have nothing but praise for them! (ive also had janspeed, ktec, magnaflow and larini systems on other cars)
Ive owned both, not much in it apart from the 182 feels a bit taughter, having said that the 172 was on eibachs and the 182 is on cup suspension. The 182 seems to rattle less but im guessing because its newer!

Thats my mates vx - good choice! just be careful in the wet! I used to have an elise and loved it! just tricky to catch the back end with it being mid engined!
Sean id be very interested to see how you get on with these - my mates running throttle bodies on a 1.3 106 rallye and it goes very well now! Ive been thinking these would be nice on the 182 maybe sometime!
My mates legacy turbo is a bit of a sleeper - no one seems to know what it is, but its got brembos on, td05 turbo running quite a bit of boost so its around 260/280 bhp. Goes very well and surprises people! :)
Hi there,
The 197 was the most fun - I loved it! but it did cost me twice the amount the 182 was. Liked the 172, but find the 182 feels tighter some how and I prefer the cup suspension to that on the 172. If money wasnt a problem I would be straight back in the 197, it was a fantastic car...
I need to try replacing mine, its not lively on the back end in cornering, just over bumps it twitches a bit.
But when I bought the car it had michelins on the front, and firestones on the back, it was such an oversteer machine! but it was a bit on the dangerous side so swapped them round, now...
Ok there are 14, but here are 8 of them!...
2002 - bought a new cooper and did exhaust, filter etc
Then swapped for an s, new again, put jcw intake, jcw strut brace, eibach springs, milltek exhaust on it
Then Elise-S, just put a Janspeed on this
Then another mini, put a larini exhaust...
Had a cold day at croft! managed to get some pics even though I did forget to take my gloves, making my hands feel like they were going to fall off holding the camera all day!...

and a few selected ones...
Basically I duplicate the image in photoshop, make the top layer black and white, leave the layer underneath in colour, then erase the cars from the black and white layer so the colour shows through from underneath. I only really used it on this photo as the colours were very rich in the...
Ive had 3 and not one problem, had a new mini and it was in the garage loads, also mates with vw's have had loads of problems. Its just down to luck in my opinion. I think the clio's are pretty reliable.
I think thats the reflection of the roof of a house. It was only a quick shot, used really high iso as it was getting dark, but doesnt look quite so bad after a bit of photoshopping!
Those have been joined by a 205 gti and a works cooper s now (not new one)
Not had chance to take some proper pics, but here is what we have at the moment. The 182 is mine, r27 is mums and the r26 is dads.
Its funny how we all have become RS converts!
