I agree with Ben, I dont think that style suits the smaller sizes cos the spokes dont quite go to the edge of the rim. In fact on the cars that Ive seen them on, they always seem to look smaller than they should. Id stick with the ph1s if it was me.

On the mk1, the dashboard instrument shroud is a good place to mount the camera. Its flat so you can just tape the camera down with a load of duck tape, it is also angled slightly downwards so when you watch the video back you can see the road in front rather than a load of sky. Rick

Thats fine. I was refering to my brothers experience with them on his tuned Bravo HGT but I appreciate your concern. Have also been in an ERST with the same tyres and there were no problems at all. For a not so expensive performance tyre I think theyre a good choice.

If he doesnt lower it then any tyres on 15in wheels should be fine. Ive got 195/45s on mine and lowered it 30mm and theres no scraping at all. As for the bonnet and lights, I think the front wings may be a slightly different shape to incorporate the ph 3 lights so he may need to fit ph 1 wings...
