I agree with Ben, I dont think that style suits the smaller sizes cos the spokes dont quite go to the edge of the rim. In fact on the cars that Ive seen them on, they always seem to look smaller than they should. Id stick with the ph1s if it was me.
On the mk1, the dashboard instrument shroud is a good place to mount the camera. Its flat so you can just tape the camera down with a load of duck tape, it is also angled slightly downwards so when you watch the video back you can see the road in front rather than a load of sky.

It differs from car to car. Its not like all the car pre 95 cars are 52mm and the rest are 54mm or whatever. Youll have to jack the car up and take a wheel off and have a look, alternatively take it to a garage and get them to check for you. You can see on the picture below the two holes at the...
Fitting for the two front shocks will be around £50 - £60. The 52 or 54mm fitting represents the space between the two bolt holes at the bottom of the strut. Make sure you get this right before ordering or it gets expensive, as I found out to my cost......
£100 for the two shocks sounds about...
Is it the same one as in the RT? On the passenger side around the footwell? If it is then thats plenty big enough to two big cables through I would have thought, its about 1.5 inches across.

God damn I love the look of that front bumper. Cars very shiney too! Is that the autoglym sooper dooper 4 in 1 sponge that cleans, dries, waxes and protects the paintwork???;)
Alright Ben. All Ive been doing since FCS is saving for a valver! Seriously toyed with the idea of a GT conversion for a while. But I spoke to someone who had already had the conversion done and the cost of getting the 1.4 to a state where it will comfortably handle the power, and then getting...
Thats fine. I was refering to my brothers experience with them on his tuned Bravo HGT but I appreciate your concern. Have also been in an ERST with the same tyres and there were no problems at all. For a not so expensive performance tyre I think theyre a good choice.
Go for Red seats if you want to stand out, but I prefer the subtlety of black bucket seats personally.....
Also red seats in a red car might look a bit OTT.

Ben, are you taking the piss?!? The smallest film is 300Mb!! Might have to leave it downloading for a couple of days!:)
I bet they get loads of letters in a TG in the next week about showing that video and how theyre encouraging young drivers to speed throught towns! Despite the fact that you...
Hi, new person!:)
Before you take the keys, make sure that the bodywork is absolutely perfect, check that the interior is also spotless and that everything works, could also check the fluid levels in the engine just to be sure but the dealer really should have done this for you. If you find...
Im not sure mate. I got it sorted out over the telephone. If its your dad getting insurance tho, having any other driver on the policy wont bump it up too much.
I reckon your looking at about £500 - £600 for your dad to get insurance with no NCB and allowing any one else to drive the car, i.e YOU!
Im on my dads insurance at the moment with CIS, they didnt raise the policy at all when i fitted alloys, lowered the suspension and got the exhaust done.
Let the colour debate begin!
Id say go for black, most of the ones I see are either silver or blue. Black is nice and subtle and looks the dogs danglies! Errr, as for buying advice, I cant help you cos Ive never driven one but everyone on here who has one seems to love it, despite the typical...
If he doesnt lower it then any tyres on 15in wheels should be fine. Ive got 195/45s on mine and lowered it 30mm and theres no scraping at all.
As for the bonnet and lights, I think the front wings may be a slightly different shape to incorporate the ph 3 lights so he may need to fit ph 1 wings...
