Momo GT2s .........classy! Get them painted in Anthracite dark grey. I think theyd look wicked on a Naples valver. Failing that, go for some Compomotive MOs for the motorsport look!
Thanks for the input fellas. The paint is generally in good nick although there are quite a few small scratches which is inevitable on a ten year old car I suppose. The bonnet was resprayed about two months ago so there are no stone chips on the front. Think Ill price it around £1850 and see...
Thanks people. I only really asked out of curiosity because I knew that the stage 1 kit is basically filter/exhaust/chip, so I thought it was a bit of a step up to just chuck in 2 litre for stage 2......
Either way, Ive got off load my RT before I can seriously think about getting a 16v so Ill...
Very likely Craggy. I work for the Co-op. One of our offices/warehouse is on Doddington Road right next to the Railway crossing. Youve probably seen it when you were doing the crossing there.
What are you doing at Doddington Hall???
Rick
Ben, I had a look on their site but it just says "contains all the necessary parts to make 160bhp". Not sure whether that includes the bottom end...
Can someone tell me what the Hill Power stage two conversion consists of. Ive been looking on Auto Trader at some valvers and theres one for sale (suprisingly cheap) with a 2ltr Stage 2 conversion. Is it basically just fitting a 2ltr bottom end from a Williams/Megane or is there more to it...
...its my car. Looking to sell pretty soon but Im not sure what sort of price to put it up at, and what I can expect to get.

Spec is as follows:
1.4 engine - Ramair filter and Piper S/S Backbox
15in wheels, uniroyal rainsport tyres (about 6...
Talk about close! Didnt seem to be much in it (not the best angle to tell tho). Any idea what the time was for that run?
Also, whos that with the reet proper broad accent!
Rick
Yeah, I suppose if your running a standard exhaust then you wont notice the sort of booming noise that you tend to get with aftermarket systems when you take the back seats etc out.
With the subframes, were they universal ones or did they just send frames for the wrong car?
Rick
Has anyone got a photo of a BMC filter fitted. Ive heard quite a bit about them (not least the funky carbon finish) and wondered what they actually look like on the car.
Rick
whoa there Nosh Clio. I wasnt saying you should go out and by a Viper kit (think theyre about £250) I was just wondering whether that was what you were thinking of when you referred to a Forced Air Induction Kit. :)
Probably best speaking to other 1.2 owners to see what has given the best...
Its a nice looking car mate. But TBH if its a 91 with higher than average miles it might be worth considering selling stuff like the wheels, tyres and ICE (maybe even the exhaust if youve still got the old one) separately. The car itself would be worth around a grand I would have thought. The...
You can probably get more efficient induction kits for the 1.2 over the K&N, but essentially it would still be an air filter cone on the end of a pipe. Are you thinking of the PiperX hard cone jobbies which run straight from your front bumper?
Rick
I had exactly the samething on mine. The sound originated from the pedal assembly itself. Apparently theres a rubber seal or something on the back of the pedal which gets loose and needs refitting. The squeaking stopped after about three or four months! Dont know whether it fixed itself or what...
Your gonna be opening a major can of worms trying to do a conversion like that. The colling and oil channels will almost certainly not line up, and as for getting it timed etc, its going to be a major head ache. The 1.2 8v is not really an engine that can be tuned TBH, if your seriously after...
Heres some more from yesterday. The first two pages are mostly engine p**n, and the last page is other random car pics.

Your best bet is probably to find someone else who can host them for you then and send them the file. Unfortunately I cant upload movies for some reason cos it always c***s up but someone on here must have some webspace available......
Sorry I cant be more help!
Rick
Difficult to tell then. Can you open anything else youve uploded to that folder? Also are you manually typing in the ftp commands to put the files on the web or are you basically dragging and dropping the files.
