None look particularly like Guesty. Unless you'd told me it was meant to I wouldn't really have 'guessed' excuse the slight pun.
£499 too? But expensive for me.
Too late now. It was my first collision of any sort and I just wasn't thinking straight. I should have got her to follow me around the corner and had a good look.
She was a middle aged woman in a Zafira. She was like, "I didn't hear anything.." She said that twice. WTF? Hear anything? My...
That's pretty cool. At least it should get sorted alright. Beauty of a warranty really. I've got til November on mine.
I got flaming rear ended by a woman today at a junction. The screw on her number plate his imprinted itself into my bumper. P****d off. I went to pull away but had to stop...
What are the chances of this working on wheels that have been badly kerbed around the rim?
Obviously it would be a bit harder to sand.
Would a repaired rim stand up to the monkey tyre fitters putting new tyres on?
Anyone recommend a colour for standard silver 172 alloys?
I found my...
Why has this been moved from 'Clio Discussion' to 'General Chat'.
It is a discussion on a specific part for a Clio. If anything move it to 'Interior...'
Flaming pedantic, I try to post in the correct section.
Gutted for ye mate. Hate things like this that are a mystery. I'd rather something break properly.
Good luck getting it sorted. Car looked mint today too.
I had mine sort of on the pavement with the bumper overhanging the drive ramp, so giving a bit more clearance. My sister has a pit.... totally forgot!! Doh!
The splitter was a little twisted making it awkward to hold in place and I didn't have any tape strong enough.
I got a mate to hold it while I drilled and screwed it in place.
I'm about 90% happy with it's position but gonna leave it a couple of weeks to become untwisted and refit it. It...
It was mental that Clio. Sounded loud as hell in the Tyne Tunnel.
Edit original post, it was Garf and Blunty turned up late (not Garf and J Rock). Didn't catch the names and just assumed Inferno Cup was J Rock as he has one according the initial "who's going" list.
Nice to meet you guys...
Durham services at 1:30 pm today.
Nice to meet you guys finally. I'm rubbish with names so apologies if I forget quickly.
Met at Durham and had a convoy to Royal Quays, North Shields. Lost a few members en-route though. What happened guys?!
Garf and J Rock turned up late so some pics...
Well tbh I'm not that impressed with the Philips Silvervision. The tops of the bulbs are a very mild gold looking and the sides look fairly orange.
Never tried the Osram Diadem from powerbulbs.com but maybe they'll be better.
Aye, I've got a disklok. Used to put it on the back seat in the VTS and wouldn't slide off; side to side maybe though.
With the leather in the 172 it's all over the place and I end up putting it on rear floor but don't like doing that for fear of scuffing seat when picking it up.
Couldn't...
Looks like a cracking example that mate, nice one.
My 53 has only 6k miles less than that too.
Never liked the normal mk1's but the mk1 172 looks proper cool somehow.
I did have jump leads and tow rope in my old RT. Hopefully don't need them in the 172.
Look at my 172, it shouts, young, exciting, fairly successful person.
Look IN it and it shouts old man with pipe and slippers and yes I do have 5Live and ClassicFM on presets.
I used to in my old RT. I'm a sucker for those things for £3.99 when you buy £6 of fuel.
I also carry in my boot, two golfing umbrellas and my snooker cue.
I bit of rope to tie the boot down if I find some swag to stick in the boot.
Bottle of water
Paracetamol
Spare bulbs
A-Z...
Yep, I've done the indicators and main beams but I cannot do the sidelights at all.
Dunno what I'm gonna do... I need my ex to be here, small girl/small hands.
