Top job Russ as always ;)
Get Steve to take you out in it round Bedford.
I've done a couple of days in it, best when it's damp. Powerslides for ever :o
Very supprising how few revs are needed to fly.
Russ you looked shocked :D
Awaits the my 200 eats them for breaky, yeah 0-60 in less...
I've been using Hankook Rs2's for a couple of yrs now.
Not the outright grip of 888's but more playfull.
The also don't make your car sound like 1960 landrover on road.
You have 17's so a sets about £325 compared to £700 for 888's no brainer really.
Did silverstone in the 5 on friday & so...
I was same as you, got fully loaded 197Cup.
They all rave about the Trophy but i found the 197Cup to be far better car as all rounder.
On track standard it's a revelation;)
Just take it to a trackday & cane it to within an inch of it's life.
FFS remap, thought renault had done the job over the 197, now your toying with playing with it!
Looking at pad options for the 5 as have a few events lined up.
The race guys use 'carbotec' but these are £300 for full set.
I can get Yellows for £120 for full set.
I know the green & red fall to bits (on track) but anyone used yellows??
