On my 182 on the longer driveshaft (O/S) the middle boot is leaking oil, I think the boot is damaged rather than loose. So is that an MoT fail? I couldn't remember if only the outer ones are an MoT fail. Thanks Mark

If I plant the throttle on my 182 in neutral from idle the "stop" and battery/no charge lights come on for about 1/2 a second then go off again. 100% repeatable. Any thoughts? Doesn't seem to do it in gear although I haven't tried from stationary in 1st.

Hi I've got my high tensile steel bolts but do I need speccial nuts? I was going to use std nylock ones just wondered if they are strong enough, don't recall anyone ever mentioning using special ones. same question for washers as well I guess. Thanks Mark

I've never managed to get it to take more than 4.5 litres to fill and it's supposed to take 7 litres. I remove the bottom hose at the radiator, the heater hose where it enters the thermostat housing and the bleed screw. What am I missing? I don't have an air lock so don't bother suggesting it.

How can you tell if a particular make/model tyre has a stiffer side wall than another? Can you use the load rating i.e. 195/45R16 80V, where the 80 is the load rating. Does higher load rating equate to stiffer side wall?
