Ah, different shifter. I think we only cut about 1/2 inch off, and it pulled the lever quite a way back. I was having trouble with 3rd and 5th.

A Palmer Sport rollcage base. they use them a lot so they don't damage the internals on the car.

Mines better now after a good thrashing around Donington on Friday (1st time out), but brand new, it was really clunky, even in a straight line. Depends on the set up though, they built mine for racing, so it's really tight.
