To be honest, Big Burp beat me up last night lol, I ache all over, plus I have a small lump on my spine, I reckon it's the Hans device slightly changing my position in the seat.
Must get some foam, forgotten how violent it was/is.
As I said in Tric Triphy Facebook.
Fkn awesome mate!
I could certainly feel the roll centre kit, esp not driving it for over a year, it was like a go kart.
Took a few laps to get used to the gripper, esp under braking.
Managed Craners flat in 4th in the end, so happy with that, and so much...
Just giving it a run Russ.
Then I'll decide which one is going to Thruxton on the 13th.
If I was pot hunting, it'd be the pug, class winner every time out.
But I do fancy a high speed battle up front tbh.

Mark Pattrick / Richard Pattrick Renault Clio...
Well Donington booked for Fri eve, just to get a little seat time.
Need to get the feel of old burp again.
Noise will be a problem, but I'll just have to take it steady I suppise.
Another day in workshop today, got the spanners out, whipped the suspension off for a check, freed up the calipers and sliders, spanner checked all underneath, sump guard back on etc etc.
Another step closer.
And another good thing, pads are ok.
Yes he's a good lad.
From where I was stood, easy lol. To be fair, the ph1 bumpers are a nightmare, front and rear. Just got to be brave with it.
That's what electricians tape is for, isn't it?
An eventful long Thursday.
Mr Dinger Dave and Adam Gittings came over to "The Barn" yesterday, and very kindly did/helped wrap Mr Big Burp.
The object was to get him looking something like a race car again, and not a beat up old Phs1.
Mr Bell is my hero atm, he plodded on with no regard to time...
A few steps closer today, the Clio is all cleaned inside and out, tidied some of the wiring in the engine bay, new fire ex pull switch.
Dinger Dave and Adam are coming over on Thursday, to help me get it wrapped, so maybe Thruxton, maybe not.
Under wraps for now.
I'm with Dinger on this.
Like everybody, I hate to see an engine blow.
But you won't be able to use it next year anyway.
Didn't get chance to speak to you over the weekend.
