Again, all depends on what you want to do racing wise.
In our Tricolre Trophy series, we run a production class, very little needs to be done to the car, except of course the usual stuff, cut off switch, fire extinguisher.and roll cage.

Tbqh, the time you've had all the welding done to be able to bolt it in, you might as well weld it in. That's what mine is, a bolt in welded in cage.

Where are you based, there is a guy from Track Attack, who has done loads of cages for the different series that run, he did one not long ago for a Clio that runs in the production class.
I was thinking of getting some of these from them, makes moving the car around in the winter in the workshop easy peesy.
