    Which polisher would you recommend?

Where abouts are you?? You’re more than welcome to borrow all my machines for a weekend if you don’t want to buy one.

    Which polisher would you recommend?

As long as you use a DA and not a rotary, you’ll be fine. Buy some Angelwax Resurrect, a cheap DA polisher and some microfibre pads and you’ll be loving life I promise you. That Halfords polisher is a pile of poo, don’t waste your money.

    Could this be the uch?

The scuttle drains block up and water can get in to the cabin. But honestly, it’s just poorly made and the solder joins crack. A decent repair man (like @Brigsy pointed to) will have it as good as new in 24h. Be reet. 👌🏽

    Could this be the uch?

No need to remove it. Most whack it from underneath. I bet it works after. 😂

    Could this be the uch?

The UCH tends to pack up slowly. So it gives you little warnings before it fails properly. I suspect this is what’s happening here. Have you given it a whack? A swift clump usually makes it work properly for a few days. 😂

    Lugs underneath the back seat?

If the water was coming in through them (it’s not) it would be brown water - those bolts were rusty from factory. 😂

    1*2's being Broken !

I genuinely don’t get it with the 172/182. I understand the standard shite. But you can’t get a more modern car that drives as well as a 1*2. Show me another car for less than £3/4k that has half leather, air con, traction control, cruise control, and can go round corners on 3 wheels allllll...

    Handling queries

Rear shocks play a huge part in a Clio’s handling. If you’ve got crappy aftermarket ones on there and budget front tyres, it will handle like a boat.

    BMW M5

Yeah the only way that will sell is if it’s the cheapest in the country. Sometimes you just have to bite the bullet - it’s not going up in value.

6 inch mate. But I’m about to order some 5 inch for the smaller panels. The 6 is brilliant for bonnet and roofs but for everything else it’s a hindrance and a smaller pad is easier. That may change with a bit of practice I’m sure, but I’m not there yet.

Accepting one-off customer payment by Credit Card...?

That’s my point though. Tell them you’ll charge them an admin fee if they don’t pay by bank transfer. They will always pay by bank transfer. “The admin fee is nothing to do with the card fee’s sir, it’s simply to cover our admin. If you pay by transfer, we have no admin so we’ll pass the saving...
