How many of you are running with oil catch tanks?
I know it's a worth while mod on a turbo'd car but is it worth it on a N/A?
I've got a spare tank and hose and think I'll fit one this weekend.
Checked all the fuses and all are ok. The light on the dash telling me its on is working which tells me I'm getting power to there but nothing on the rear screen. Is it just a case of checking all the wiring or is there something common that goes with these?
Cheers for any pointers!
Advice please on new car for the wife.
In the coming months I will be relieving the wife of her much loved 172 cup to turn it into a track car. She is very undecided on what she wants but keeps saying that she loves the performance and looks of the cup but wants something newer and with more...
What settings are everyone running for track use on coilovers including ride height, caster, camber, etc....
Is it lower the better or is there a limit on how low to go?
Looking at fitting coilovers over the winter ready for next years track season.
Everytime I lock the doors using the key fob and so setting the alarm, it goes off after exactly 30 mins. I now have to lock the doors using the interior switch and then lock the passenger door and so not use the alarm.
Anyone else had this issue or know how to fix?
Thanks
Steven
What would make the best track tyres that will only be used on track. Something like R888's or an actual slick or moulded slick. The slicks seem to be around £60 for a 16" whereas an R888 is around £125.
Would you get enough heat into a slick with coilovers?
Thinking of getting some coilovers for my 172 cup as I plan on getting it track prepped over the winter. Thinking of either KW v2's or ast's, which do you think would perform best on track?
Any advice welcome and appreciated!
