    Afternarket Alloys,which ones,size,172 cup

When you get your wheels refurbed they get the whole works anyway. If you fancy new wheel, get new wheels but dont listen to a word this place is telling you. Refurbs cost between £40 and £60 a wheel depending on the place and the wheel. I would budget £50 a wheel and take it somewhere that...

    Off to efi parts tomorrow...

Did you check any measurements? Big or main journals on the crank. If Scoff does the mechanicals it must be your lucky day as I didn't think he did mechanicals any more. I know what you mean about time though, it just takes so long to get everything done on an engine build. Hope it's not too...

    KTR ITB's - Throttle cable

Can you not just feed it through the grommet behind the pedal box. Thats where I fed mine through when i had a cable throttle body on my old turbo conversion.

    Megane Reservoir conversion

    You could just do this.

Engine using oil and smoking - replacement/rebuild?

If you're not doing the swap yourself, either option is not going to be cheap. Built engine fitted could be £1500 and just the swap with a replacement engine will be around £1k at best. The new engine will need belts done again as well but you have the parts already.

    Brake line info

I just use 8mm P clips and drilled some mounting points next to the strut that holds links the chassis to the wishbone. i can take a pic if you need.

Do these flexis look knackered/on their way out rapidly?

Is it secured correctly. Seems odd that a flexi would fail so soon.

Do these flexis look knackered/on their way out rapidly?

It will do that mileage again no problem and then some more.

    Members in Scotland

Thought this was to see who the active members were. If they are so 'active', why are you having to post them up. :S

    VVT Cams without VVT

I had these made up to remove the dephaser. Machined exhaust pulley would work too.

Do these flexis look knackered/on their way out rapidly?

In my opinion, they'll last many years and miles.

PM focrs mate as it's him that makes them. I just get bits made for him.

    Off to efi parts tomorrow...

Yeah, its the head flange. Different bolt spacing on the megane but if I can get a megane gasket I can get one made to suit.

    Off to efi parts tomorrow...

Think he's got another one ready. Then you can fit the ph2 throttle body and not have to use the smaller inlet on the megane manifold. You'll need a megane flange as I got him a clio flange waterjet cut.

He told me 630's would work so you should be fine with them too.

From the research I did it can help cool the valves by spraying the fuel onto them. As long as your injectors have a wide spray pattern. On my inlet, I had not choice as the fuel rail would hit the plenum back plate. (mine are in the same place as this)

Green Track Cup - Back To Basics

Thats crazy power for such a small engine! Guess with the high rpm and single cylinder, the torque output wont be that high. I want to get my boy into karting as soon as he is old enough so will have to do my homework. He is only 2 just now so I have a few years yet. lol

Green Track Cup - Back To Basics

Is that power output correct. 42bhp from 125cc is 336bhp per ltr NA. That F1 levels of power output.

Similar to mine from that pic so might have the same issues. What injectors are you using? 630cc dekas?
  26. Cupman29

    Off to efi parts tomorrow...

What angle are your injectors? Any pics?? Also what injectors are you using? Ive got a custom inlet too but hope I've not got any issues. Did a lot of research before making it so should be alright.

Should be one hell of an engine. Did you get the block work done at AS Performance? I know Alyn did this conversion for odb's but not sure if others offer it now.

172 Cup Turbo - Track Car

That is shocking! Lost interest?! Such a crying shame that you've been treated in such a way. I've seen this on a few forums to owners who trust a so called reputable garage and end up losing a fortune. You look to have lost a lot of time but hopefully not too much money. A guy on another...
