I think by the time he got to the circuit stuff he had a leaking damper and the clutch was shagged so struggled with gear chnages..lol
But tbh he was still pleased, like you say not a bad place to be as starting point, as you say its seat time now that he needs, he has been to more trackdays in...
That's the great thing about your spec mate, its throw away really with the expensive bits simply bolt of and revolt to a other engine :)
Tbh its last well though, how long and how many track days you think its done?
Have you dis-connected the lamba, the car should run if you have only burnt the lamba plug, if you have burnt the loom you may need to trace the wires back further.
Mick diamond and mike woodford were the experts when ours broke so if your having issues they may be best to take it too :)
This happened to us at Bedford at the renaultsport day, which part of the plug has burnt?
If like ours its the actual lamba sensor side then just unplug it and it will run again just idle a bit tough till you replace :)
I will remmeber next time my car needs to stay with fred to make sure the v6 is working ;)
are you going to clean it for fred? last time i saw it, it had a 1" thick skin of dust on it..lol
Re: A Mini Adventure ...
car looks good dave... if im honest though, i was half expecting it to have been sold by now..lol
looking forward to the suspension updates :-)
Did it have the DCI badges on? if so its Nick Gwinet, the car is very competent as is he at coombe and in general :-)
he times himself usually and I think that his best so far is 1.21 but I could be wrong, its a cracking little car tbh
Hello mate :)
That was my second time there too, really enjoyable circuit, was good to me you, even if it was a bit briefly.
As chip says, I'm tile hill side if Coventry, there are quite a few clio's around though that I see, someone has a very RB clio like the one chip has just bought, and I...
We are mega pleased with it tbh, whilst we know it could be better with upgrades, its just sooo much fun, and providing you pick your battles its pretty evenly matched to other standard stuff which makes it epic fun :)
Totally enjoyed Bedford :)
Car pretty much ran faultlessly bar burning a plug for the lamba on the exhaust :) fuse change and cable ties sorted that :)
No pictures available as yet but I have this video of a bit of a hussle we were having with a very evenly matched clio ph1...
