For a decent spec rig you are looking at 3 or event 4 times the cost of an xbone. I have built and try to stay ontop of my now very dated PC, When I first built it 4 years ago, it was an average to good gaming rig at best and it cost me around £600-700 to spec it up. Its now pretty out of date...
So £500 worth of belts and a service ontop of that price bringing it up to £1400ish... Still more than it's worth in my opinion for that mileage. £5-600 would see it's real value.
Renault recommend 2 years 12k? Really?! That seems far too few and far between IMO. 1 year 8k is my default service setting for every car I have owned!

Not sure they will need an acid dip... not sure how the process works from most powder coating places, but as far as I knew, it was simply shot blast and then powder coat... I wouldn't be paying out for a stage they don't need! and Silver. Always silver!
Iv seen far worse getting a refurbishment and come out in brilliant condition. A shot blast and powder coat will see them looking decent. They need more than a DIY blow over so best getting the pros in here imo.
Anything between £150-200 depending on condition. The link I sent you they are up for £180 with the black inserts from the 172. I would contact the OP of the thread i linked and ask about collection. Don't give them any money over PayPal gift. They have only posted 27 times on the forum so could...

Ripon, North Yorkshire... not too bad from Leeds if you were to go get them.

As above. Buy some lights off someone who is breaking a 172/182 with Xenons, you should get everything you need to carry out a proper OEM conversion this way.
Because London.
Some brilliant cars, and nice photos you managed to get here. You should look up Alex Penfold. His work is all London based!

I thought they had a firmer damping rate than the standard ones?! Different part number and all. I plan to refresh mine with cup items when I do the overhaul. :)
Fancy plates is the best place, got mine from there. I run it all the time and I've not had any issues, pass traffic cops everyday to and from work on the M6 and not been pulled. You need a pretty good eye to spot it and be a right jobs worth to pull you for it. I know a guy who has run a small...
Same. Fitting my new mount made it worse... Need to find a way of wedging the hanger up a little more to stop it dropping so low. Doesn't look too bad on mine, it's just annoying!
You tried metal zip ties to hold yours in place in the mount?!
Hopefully this will help someone. :) Kumho Ecsta HM KH31 review.
I have used the Kumho Ecsta KU31 on my previous 106's and Saxos and been very happy with them in the past. I then got a new car and fitted Avons because that's what was fitted in the first place. After recently getting the Clio...
A lot worse than mine. Span mine a few weeks back after getting new tyres fitted. Similar circumstances, wet roundabout low speed and the back end just came around. I steered into it but as the car was having non of that and I needed up 180 facing back where I came from. Only my pride was...
Iv just had a look and there are a shed load of 1*2's for sale around the £1500-800 mark. When I was looking there were only 2 or 3 worth looking at and mine wasn't that good if I'm honest. :/ if I had my money again I would have a nice blue or black 172 in a standard form! Couple of lovely ones...
I use my 3D loads. But I watch a stupid amount of films. It's worth it if you use it! :) given the option though... 4K would be my first choice! I only use the 3D so much because I have it as an option!
in answer to the thread, latest iv had from a mate who works in curries selling TVs...
I don't actually mind modified cars from this era. If it wasnt for their school boy styling I wouldn't have gotten interested in cars, things like this were what got my imagination going. My inspiration for getting a MK1 clio as a first car was the Maxpower and Haynes Modifed clio from "back in...
Oh feck it, I will get one before the 29th then when the car is booked in for! Makes sense I guess since they will be I there doing the belts anyway, guess it means I will need coolant as well... :/ all bloody adds up! Going to spend more than the car cost me at this rate!
