urrrgh! Don't say that! Haha. Im sure if there is an issue, the lads at Birchdown will see it and let me know! Be nice to have it all sorted and know in my mind that the engine has been sorted for now. :)
No one has answered the actual question here! Haha iv just booked all mine in for the 29th with Birchdown and have everything but the water pump... Might order one... Hahah.

I don't know about voting. But what I'm saying is, you could be the first person to post the correct answer on here, but someone might have beat you to the punch on facebook or twitter and unless the guy/gal who runs these comps is posting the comment on FB/Twitter and thread on here all at the...
HAAAA! "Oh please don't take your precious thread away from us! How ever will we live or find it again?!" Dude sounds like a flannel! I agree though, on FB people properly bum one another. Its all about scoring points.

Iv had it bang on before pal and still not won. Some lucky bugger got there before me on Facebook. Even if you get the numbers right its still pot luck if you have covered all the social media and other forums!
Are you even old enough to be on the internet unsupervised?! Bloody hell! Talk about an over reaction.
haha, STOC is pretty bad for it. To be fair, forums take all sorts, just seems that the "all sorts" are coming in their masses at the moment and spitting their dummies out over everything...
You are replying to a 10 year old thread! The guy who posted this thread hasn't been on the forum since 2004...
Stop getting your knickers in a twist! No one was being rude, they were just pointing out, you aren't going to get an answer to your question because this thread is so old!

Always leave the best tyres on the rear of the car. Understeer is easier to correct than oversteer and much safer on the road. The RAC, VOSA and AA all recommend the best rubber goes on the rear!

There isn't much you can look out for on a test drive unless you have driven a couple. Without anything to compare to, it's hard to look for a bench mark.
What I am saying is if the suspension is worn out, you won't really know...it's not much to give it refresh mind if it's in need. Just...
Bit of a bump... Going to be doing my spark plugs on my 172, so inlet is coming off...should I order a new gasket or not?! The car is on 107k now and while there is Renault service history I can't be sure if the gasket has ever been replaced. should I order one just to be safe or will it be...

That will get you the same size as mine with the small gap around the edge. :)

Cheers pal, thought it was pretty boring to be fair! Just lots of cleaning and not much else at the moment! The fun stuff is about to begin though... Just had a delivery of all the service bits from CP4L and they are all present and correct (I have had issues with them before sending the wrong...
That's too many lows IMO! 40-45mm was the recommended drop for road use and every day drivability. Any lower than that and the chocolate made driveshafts and CV boots would fail even more regularly than they did already and it messed with the turn in too much making it really understeery! I have...
Rallye ownership. The first 6-8 months is teething problems and getting to know the cars "character!" after that initial period (and the wallet getting raped each month!) you soon find a balance of living with it and the faults not being faults any more but rather just "quirks!" ;)
The gear box...
I think it will still work. The iPhone uses a-gps, Assistant Global Positioning System. So with no sim or signal, wifi or 3/4g the phone can still workout where you are but maps and stuff won't load. You will just be a flashing blue dot on a blank screen. You need internet connection to get the...
Checked the fluid levels and that today and decided it would be a nice idea to give it a full service.(oil was looking rather black!) Ordered all my oil and filters from CP4L for £53 including new plugs and pollen/cabin filter. If the weather is decent next weekend I will have it all done and...
