    Oops. Strange one mate. I've had my dash over loads of times and never had any probs. How about removing the dash again and then seeing if it works ok again?

    I very nearly went for that kit mate, but I am trying to make the 172 as light as possible so ended up going for the lightweight kit. I hope so, and add a couple more ponies :)

    I've got the lightweight kit with the lightweight pulleys etc :) Yes mate. My 172 has been off the road since last June. I am having the belts changed, and the AC delete kit and matched inlets fitted. Looking forward to getting back on the track with it soon.

    Not if you fitted airbag resistors.

    Impressive power gains! I have the pure motorsport lightweight AC removal kit sat in the garage waiting to be fitted.
