How is you idle ? When mine were put in the idle was NO good ! Mapping was def needed , idle level raised bij 200rpm
I did'nt thrash it either untill the thing was mapped
Remove the heatshield . you will see the linkage and also the little ring that should be there holding in the stick ; it's one of those ring/clips with the two small holes, pressing outwards. Sorry , can'tremember what you call 'em :o
^^ these parts can be replaced i think , the pin itself wo'nt give you any play. The linkage to the pin/box i am talking about. Jeeez i read a thread somewhere about this but i can't remember where sorry
Is the Stick still held in place by the (bottom) clip ? this has been known to be not...
Just remembered i never received the c-spanner that fits the rings! are these one size, available at the carparts-store ?

Grand, thanks Fred ! Any tips on how to get the (possibly most probably) seized adjuster-rings to budge ? After them being in one position from factory for years ?

Any of you with H&R's that have had them on the car for a couple of years and have tried to adjust the height on the front ?

Well, i have heard it mostly chucks out some oil (when thrashing i always get a slight smell of oil) , but it actually also sometimes sucks in ! Therefore " breather" .
So a filter is a good idea mate (costs a fiver , less)

I just did the job today. The old ones have a metal outing, but are pretty easily pressed out. I thought it would have given me some trouble looking at it, but was easy peasy.
I found it hard to press the new two halfs in. ended up grinding a TAD bit off each one and jobs a...
