Smell after fitting induction kit

Just fitted a Ktec pipercross induction kit and Its smelling strongly of oil or petrol even with the windows down.

Ive fitted the oil breather as the instructions say but I'm fairly certain thats where the smell is coming from.

Anyone had the same problem or know how to fix it?

If the breather pipe is going to the atmosphere then you will smell it, the only way to stop it is plumbing it back into the intake.

or run the pipe to an oil catch tank

Its the smell of oil.

How's your oil-level ? don't chuggle in too much now ! I keep mine 1 mm below tops, sometimes get the smell but def not annoying
