I like this car - if I was getting a new hot hatch it would be one of these, but I still love the 182 so will keep that. Although I am on the look out for a Williams as a weekend toy.
I love this BG. The reason I got a 182 was when they came out for the first time I saw a BG one and said I need one.... Not sure why I went Arctic blue
I have a arctic blue 182 on 78000, literally just ticked over. Needs a couple of scratches sorted but the rest of the car is fine - the wheels could do with a refurb but I'd probably put it up for 2500 as is.
That's part of the reason I still have mine. It's got the air con and traction control, auto lights etc etc, for me it has everything I need and is fun to drive. To be honest I'm not sure what the difference is against a 172 cup - I'd say pretty much dead on really.
I will get another car soon but god knows what to get.... Maybe a cheeky R26. I could sell for 2500 or something but the car means more to me than that. The 172 cup is awesome and getting rare to see them on the road :)
He spent 6k cause he obviously loves the car. If you like a car it's easy to do that kind of money. See above.
My saying is we all work hard to get moola, if a car makes you smile then it doesn't matter how much you spend on it.....
True, but it runs better than anything now thanks to Ren7oaks. It pulls better than the original engine that had 45k on it. I spent 4k on it last year - hence why it's staying put.
I've got to spend some dollar on the 182 to make it back to a nice condition, the list is:
Have a small dent sorted
get new RS mats
Have alloys refurbished
Small scratch on rear bumper done
Wing mirror restrayed
Get car detailed after paint sorted
Get a new fog lamp after one smashed...
